Life Skills

Marks in a report card and degrees alone cannot guarantee a successful, and sustainable life. It takes the ability to communicate with fellow beings, to navigate one’s daily life confidently, whether at home, at a bank, at an office or on the road, to enable one to survive and thrive. The Sagar School endeavours to groom its pupils into well-informed and diligently trained beings who are all equipped to  strategically confront the challenges in life with courage, confidence and understanding.

Financial Literacy

Financial literacy, a core life skill, apprises Sagarians about and gives an understanding of the basic financial concepts, how money is made, managed, invested, and spent, Barter system, Trade, Bill / Cash memo, Need & source of borrowing. The course details the fundamentals of Banking:  the evolution of Money, types of banks, how to open Bank Accounts, banking operations and security, the role of RBI, and do’s & don’ts for Online Banking. This critical life skill equips children in making informed and responsible money management decisions.
