BOARDING HOUSE AND COMMON ROOMS
The right atmosphere in a boarding institution makes a child grow up with a sense of responsibility and self-discipline, respect for different customs and cultures.
Boarding Houses at The Sagar School are blended very well with modern technology and international outlook. Young boys and girls enter the portals of the Boarding House at a tender age and then emerge as mature and confident young men and women, bearing the distinctive Sagarian traits of Confidence, Discipline and Honesty which distinguishes them in a crowd.
The School has air conditioned hostels with separate facilities for boys and girls. The spacious, well-ventilated rooms are shared by five students. Hot water facility is made available throughout the year.
Each hostel has a total capacity of 32 students under the efficient supervision of the House Parents. The students are expected to make their beds in the morning and to arrange and maintain their almirah and respective personal spaces.
The hostels are inspected regularly by the Dean of Pastoral Care to ensure that the rooms are well kept. House-keeping and laundry are handled by the contracted staff of Compass.
The Boarding Houses also provide modern comforts with recreational facilities including indoor games in the Common Room where children are able to use their leisure time productively. They can watch television in the afternoon and in the evening after dinner.
