Sagar Varta

As part of a Round Square Activity, Sagarians from Classes X-XII participated in a discussion on August 21, 2024, hosted by St. George's School, South Africa. The students examined ethical considerations in scientific experiments on species, and some groups engaged in AI-based games to enhance their understanding of technology's ethical dimensions.

In a special assembly, The Sagar School, a proud member of IAYP and Round Square, celebrated its latest achievement of 97 awards—53 silver and 44 bronze. Dr. Saha, The Principal, awarded the certificates and awards to the IAYP winners, recognising their outstanding accomplishments.

On August 22, 2024, The Sagar School celebrated Round Square achievements in a special assembly. Principal, Dr. Saha awarded the King Constantine Round Square Medal to Adishree Bajgai of Class XII for her exceptional participation. He also presented Round Square badges to all winners from his personal collection, honoring their contributions.

On August 23, 2024, Class X-B of The Sagar School held a senior assembly on "Actions Over Words." They presented a Mahabharata-inspired skit emphasizing deeds over words, along with a reflection, an engaging quiz, and a brief news update. The assembly concluded with an address by the Principal.

On August 24, 2024, The Sagar School held an Inter-House Sports Quiz Competition. Teams from each house tested their sports knowledge, with Diamond House securing first place, Sapphire in second, and Emerald taking third. The Dean of Academics announced the results, showcasing a blend of intellect and sportsmanship.

The Students' Academic Council Meeting commenced on August 26, 2024, led by the Dean of Academics and respective coordinators. The meeting focused on reviewing syllabus completion, academic activities, and overall progress. With the Half Yearly Examinations approaching, the Dean hosted separate sessions for each class, ensuring a detailed evaluation of academic advancement.
