On August 14, 2024, Class XII at The Sagar School held a special assembly to observe Partition Horrors Remembrance Day. The assembly featured a speech by the Principal, a reflective video, a poignant play, student discussions, and an impactful exhibition, fostering a deep understanding of the historical tragedy and its enduring significance.

On Wednesday, The Sagar School launched its Inter-House Aquatics Championship with various swimming events, including the 25m race, relay, and backstroke. Students from different houses showcased their skills and competitiveness, creating an atmosphere of excitement and team spirit. The championship will continue with more thrilling events in the coming days.

The Sagar School celebrated Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony followed by vibrant cultural performances. The Principal addressed the gathering, extending heartfelt greetings and reflecting on the significance of the day. The event showcased patriotic fervor and unity, with students participating enthusiastically in various performances, making the occasion memorable.

On the eve of 15th August, The Sagar School hosted the Triathlon as part of the Inter-House Aquatics Championship 2024. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their athletic prowess across swimming, cycling, and running. The event was a highlight of the championship, fostering team spirit and healthy competition among the houses.

Sagarians actively participated in CELA FIESTA'24 hosted by Assam Valley School, engaging in three major events: Create A Disguise, Self-Composed Poetry, and Guess a Character. Our students immersed themselves in Baraza sessions, fostering interactions with peers from other schools, enhancing their creativity, and showcasing their talents on a broader platform.

The finals and closing ceremony of the Inter-House Aquatics Championship 2024 were held at the swimming pool, with parents in attendance. Diamond House and Sapphire House emerged as joint champions, sharing the trophy, followed by Emerald House. The event marked a grand conclusion to the championship, celebrating the spirit of competition and teamwork.

The Sagar School hosted a special event for parents during the Inter-House Aquatics Championship, featuring a 25M Open Competition where parents actively participated and enjoyed the experience. The event was followed by a friendly Water Polo match between students and parents, creating memorable moments for all involved.

Sagarians embarked on a long weekend to celebrate the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan with their parents. The break provided students with the opportunity to spend quality time with their families and partake in the traditional festivities, strengthening the bonds of love and togetherness.

Sagarians enjoyed an outing to Lohagarh Farms in Gurgaon, where they had the opportunity to experience and witness the rich cultural heritage of the region. The visit offered students a hands-on glimpse into traditional rural life, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of India's diverse cultural practices.

Parents visited The Sagar School campus to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with their children. The event was filled with joy as students and their families came together to honor the festival's traditions, strengthening the bonds of love and affection within the school community.
