Students Explore Sustainable Water Practices in Round Square Activity Wed, 24 July 2024
Students from classes VI-VIII at our school participated in a Round Square activity focused on "The Sustainability of Environmentalism." They discussed water-saving measures such as rooftop and rainwater harvesting, using buckets instead of showers, and avoiding washing machines and dishwashers. The students emphasized growing water-efficient plants like Aloe vera. The school is actively involved in water conservation by using recyclable water for gardens and installing touch taps in washrooms to prevent wastage. They highlighted the importance of water consumption and the necessity of saving it.

SAFAL Exams Kick Off at The Sagar School Wed, 24 July 2024
The Sagar School commenced the SAFAL (Structured Assessment For Analyzing Learning) Exams, organized by CBSE, from July 24, 2024. Students from Class V will appear for Environmental Studies (EVS), Mathematics, and English, while Class VIII students will be assessed in Science, Mathematics, and English. The exams are part of CBSE's initiative to evaluate students' foundational skills and understanding in core subjects. The school has ensured a smooth and well-coordinated examination process, providing a conducive environment for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. The exams will continue over the following days, with all necessary precautions in place to ensure fairness and accuracy.

On July 24, 2024, class VIII A hosted an assembly centered on the theme "Different Languages are a Part of Us." The event began with a prayer for peace and sanity, followed by discussions on how languages connect us and the importance of linguistic diversity. Students shared their experiences through a story, thought, reflection, quiz, and a video presentation, which were well-received by the audience. They highlighted the idea that, despite living in different countries, we share a small world.

Campaign 'Safe Students' : Commissioner of Police Meets Principals Wed, 24 July 2024
On Wednesday, Our Principal, Dr. Saha represented The Sagar School in a key meeting with Sh. Vikas Kumar Arora, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram as part of the 'Safe Students' campaign. The discussion covered critical issues such as eradicating cyber crime, preventing child abuse, addressing underage driving, and implementing safety measures for secure school transport systems. The Commissioner also emphasized the importance of information sharing regarding substance abuse and strategies to counteract it. After the meeting, the Commissioner of Police , Gurugram provided a letter to the principals, which was discussed during our Class Teachers’ sessions to further ensure student safety. This initiative marks a significant step towards creating a safer environment for students through collaborative efforts and informed strategies.

Estate Manager Holds Catering Committee Meeting Wed, 24 July 2024
To ensure the Sagarians receive quality service in the dining hall, student representatives from various hostels, students' council, along with staff members, were selected to review the menu and overall dining hall services. The students provided suggestions and shared their opinions on the dining hall's operations. The meeting aimed to improve the quality of service and well being of students and staff.

The Sagar School commenced the annual Inter-house Badminton Championship much to the delight of the Sagarians. The matches, held in the Sports Centre, featured participants from various categories, each displaying eagerness and competitive spirit. Students from different houses competed with great enthusiasm, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.

'Service Before Self' - XI-S's Assembly Celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas Fri, 26 July 2024
On the occasion of the silver jubilee of the victory over the Kargil War, Class XI-S conducted a senior school assembly in the Rosemary Hall, honouring the sacrifices made by the soldiers for protecting India.
