Parents are asked to give to the school a set sum of money, imprest deposit, for pocket money. This money is used by students to pay for treks and for the purchase of personal items and tuck.

Our Tuck Shop is open for half an hour daily and students can visit it twice a week to purchase items. The Tuck Shop stocks snacks and other foods alongside basic toiletries such as soap, toothpaste and shampoo.

Students’ use of the Tuck Shop is monitored using a chit system. This allows us to check that students are not developing harmful eating habits and that they are spending their money wisely.
